There is magic in the needles here
I had the wonderful good fortune to be able to experience an acupuncture treatment with Sascha Doerfler. My wish would be to experience these skilled treatments on an ongoing basis however as I am from the states this is not possible.
I have had acupuncture treatments in the past so thought I knew what to expect........
But this experience with Sascha Dorfler was unlike my previous experiences with acupuncture. The work he was able to do with me in one short session was nothing short of astonishing. It was a complete experience beginning the moment I walked through the office door. I felt immediately welcomed into a warm, safe space. Going through the initial health history Mr. Dorflers capacity for deep non-judgemental listening became quickly evident. Then, as he said "pulses please", my hand was gently laid to rest on a small red pillow. This immediately gave the feeling of much more than a pulse analysis. I felt like a Queen being offered a red carpet. I, in the vulnerable situation of revealing my health history and emotions was being held with only the deepest respect. This entire time I felt transported to a place of wholeness. Then, after asking what seemed all the right questions, he guided me with a gentle firmness to the acupuncture table. The experience to this point created a strong sense of trust in me, all for what was to come........
The needles went in with a faint prick, from a hand of ease, power and deep awareness, causing me to catch my breath as I quickly moved into deep relaxation. Sascha Dörfler also used a wonderlamp on my solar plexus at this time, which added to a feeling of being in an ancient womb, warm, nurtured and cared for through the entire experience.
I walked out of his office with a continued sense of deep relaxation and elevation of spirit, but most remarkable was that I walked with a completely pain free knee for at least 48 hours. My knee pain has been a chronic condition. Since I have been back home in America the pain has not returned with the same intensity.
In addition to the benefit of reduced pain, Sascha Dorfler left me with some very simple and practical advice for practices I can incorporate into my own personal every day health care routine and attitude. These have been helping on a deeper level with what he also diagnosed to be an imbalance in my blood.
Again, Sascha Dorfler's capacity to listen deeply, his caring attention to detail, skillful hands, keen intuition and delivery of acupuncture are all things I am so grateful to have received. Thank you for the gift of showing me again what health and well being can mean. I am truly sad I can't receive regular treatments in Hamburg! There is magic in the needles here!

Seek and you shall find
Seek and you shall find!!! At least this was my way. I moved 2001 from Mainz to Hamburg. Near of Mainz I had very good treatments for several years by a doctor who studied in China acupuncture. Now I looked in Hamburg for a practice with the same requirements. Unfortunately I hadn't been very sucessful. On the contrary, the last practice I found was more than a flop, although I was under medical treatment by a Chinese. In february I started looking again for a TCM-practice. So I hit the internet website of Mr Dörfler. The composition of his site was very appealing. Then I read the ratings, which had been throughout excellent - of course - bad ratings wouldn't have been posted - so I thought at first sight. That was it as a start and I closed the internet. But I felt more and more getting out of my centre, my body and my soul demanded help. Once again I hit the web presence of Mr Dörfler and picked up the phone - what a wonderful decision!!! I found an oasis of peace and relaxation, a wonderful listener and - very important - also a skillful and competent handler of TCM. Even the setting of needles is convenient - and I had a lot of other experinces for sure. I'm grateful for being led to Mr Dörfler an he can only be recommended. Exhaustion
Sometimes you go on and on without realising how exhausted you are. I was so beaten up, that I couldn't make a decision, to do something for me. A friend of mine recommended Sascha Dörfler, I didn't know that Heilpraktiker can help in moments of being broken-down. After the first acupuncture-session I couldn't believe that I felt the next morning my power coming back slightly. It will, it will...
I get treatments by Sascha Dörfler for a month and I can tell excited, meeting him was finding an exceedingly dedicated and capable TCM-therapist with a holistic perception.
He applies acupuncture among other techniques treating not only superficial symptoms - in my case a longsome tendinitis of one hand - in intensive conversations he points out holistic connections understandable, without waving his upraised forefinger. Excellent and highly recommendable.

Feeling very well

Incredible relief

Great events often come from little causes

A warmhearted philanthropist
I came up to Mr. Dörfler by his homepage and met a very affectionate, caring and empathic human. Mr. Dörfler is a careful listener taking his time. Suffering from Morbus Crohn I looked for alternatives strengthening my immune-system and vitalizing my gut. Mr. Dörfler knows how to explain holistic backgrounds comprehensible and traceable, which I got to experience at many doctors unlikely. He gave me precious tips for nutrition, without upraising his index-finger, whithout any dogma or doctrine. I felt warm and safe all around, acupuncture is not a bit painful or dolorous and I felt (not only physically) much more invigorated than before the treatment. Although our our schedule was about 4-6 sessions at the beginning, he considered after 3 sessions that I'm able continuing on my own without any further treatments at the moment. Even when I nearly regret the end cause I always looked forward to every treatment, I got to point out clearly that he is not about making money. I'll return to the practice anytime and I can warmly recommend Mr. Dörfler and his methods.

I rather looked for an acupuncturist only
But he should be a good one. Because Mr Dörfler the only one was who works also as a practitioner / Heilpraktiker ist, I choosed him and didn't regret. Unlike other acupuncturists, he not chasing the needles into the body, but he also taking his time for researching the causes. He conveys an incredible positive and very pleasant feeling in his little practice, which rather recalls a relaxing living room. I felt well instantly catching new energy at every time being there. His energy carries me and helps going through everyday-life more painfree and relaxed. Good practitioners/Heilpraktiker and acupuncturists are rare, therefore I'm very grateful having the chance of finding him. Better is hardly possible! Holisitc healing
At Mr Dörfler I felt in good hands. While doctors are often not very sensitive and don't take their time for right diagnosing, I felt completely well under Mr Dörflers care. Working out the diagnosis meant also talking about emotional state, which is notoriously part of the basic setting of the state of health. An expert

My liberator
I suffered from pressure in my head for years. Nobody could help me effectively. The sinuses had been blocked chronicly, permanent pressure and headache made my life not very easy. I decided to look for a Heilpraktiker as long as nobody else could really help me. And I found the "liberator". After a few treatments with needles at the right points my nose run for days and days and the blocked sinuses had been released more and more. Allergy
Searching for a Heilpraktiker / medical practitioner (I was battling with a antibiotic-allergy and the immune-system was completely shut down), I found right in the heart of Winterhude the little practice of Sascha Dörfler.
He takes a lot of time for intensive conversations, pulse-diagnosis and tongue-diagnosis, gives advices for natural nourishment and other helpful behavior patterns (without raised index-finger ;-). In his congenial, warmhearted kind and his little acupuncture-needles (there ist no reason at all to be terrified of them), Mr Dörfler has recharged my batteries and magiced away my afflictions.

Recharged batteries
Sascha Dörfler helped me pointedly with acupuncture to recharchge my completely "empty batteries". Different symptoms at the state of exhaustion treated by all the other doctors didn't get any satisfying proceeding or successful treatment. Migraine and cancer
I know Mr Dörfler meanwhile over years. After nearly 45 years of suffering from heavy migraine included a correspnding high state of desperation and an endless, unsuccessful "doctors-tour" I betook myself to the treatment of Mr Dörfler. His remarkable caring character, his accurate and detailed anamnesis, the really pleasant atmosphere of the practice and Mr Dörflers circumspection and caution during "needling" are absotutely worth mentioning. Mr Dörfler even succeeded repeatedly getting me out of acute migraine-attacks with TCM Acupuncture and giving my life more quality and less pain. Beyond that he gave me - related to a recently occured cancer-diagnosis - precious advices for adjusting nourishment and helped me with TCM absorbing the side-effects of radio-therapy and anti-hormone-therapy (permanent staggering between fulminant sweating and extreme shivering attacks). In this context had been treatments with a special heating lamp really helpful (I call it for myself the "cloudlet-light"). He gave me also precious help for coping with "less important" physical nd emotional problems. All in all I can only highly recommend Mr Dörfler and wish him all the best. I'm very grateful for meeting him (and I surely will see him again by all means, coping better with my physical, emotional and mental problems with his support).

Bladder pains
After a long bladder disease over more than five months with different medicamentous treatments, cystoscopies, unbearable aches, antibiotic courses of treatments, not only my body was at the end with a intestine and stomache destroyed by antibiotics, but also my faith in mainstream medicine and the doctors, who apparently couldn't or didn't want to help me. Urological seen I had a healthy urinary bladder, so the doctors didn't see any reason treating me longer, although I suffered from horrible bladder pains. As there was no obvious or visible cause, no cause didn't exist for them, at all means no one by an urogical origin and therefore no provable complaints.
At the same time I heard from friends a lot of good about Heilpraktiker and I heard from convincing results, so sorely in need I started looking for a Heilpraktiker.
Browsing the internet for a Heilpraktiker in my neighborhood I came across Mr Dörfler, a Heilpraktiker with a focus on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine / TCM. His website and his treatment methods made me curious about him and his practice clinic so I went for cooperation, which nourished all my hope.
At the first appointment I met a likeable, heartful and warm human, who convinced me immediately of his skills. Furthermore Mr Dörfler is very dedicated and competent. Initally I felt all around well in his practice.
Starting of our first session Mr Dörfler faced up intensively with the anamnesis and my disease history, working out an optimal therapy concept for me. Additional to the questioning Mr Dörfler uses pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis as well, which for instance in my case indicates to him my burden by the the pain pulses or inflammatory states. Mr Dörfler told a lot about Chinese Medicine and built a connection between my complaints and Chinese Medicine. Beside the heavy bladder complaints he found my centre turned frantic and my vital energy down for the count. After all the antibiotic treatments and the heavy aches I was totally devastated, had no energy left and no hope for any relief from these heavy pains. By talking with me and by his examinations Mr Dörfler set up a therapy for reducing my aches hopefully completely, which had on a 0-10 scale a 8, and bringing back my energy to my centre, cause i was absolutely worn out, stressed and unhappy.
The therapy was acupuncture, massages, coachings, advices for nourishment, warmth therapy and a lot of appreciation and sensitivity.
My pains went down to a 1-2 soonish, sometimes they disappeared completely and the treatment helps me in an awesome kind by now, not only by clearing out my aches as good as completely, but also making me much more balanced, recovered and full of new vital energy. Mr Dörflers treatment provided a lot of power and joy to me and released me from my complaints with every session. I'm confident about losing my trouble completely. I'm very happy about my life guiding me to this Heilpraktiker and in complete confidence I can highly recommend Mr Dörfler to everybody.

Finally I'm doing well again
After a cardiac infarction in december 2008 I had not a bit of energy at all. That was just the ticket

Allergies
I'm now for 3 years under medical treatment by Sascha Dörfler and finally I'd like to thank him by this way.
Since the first year of my life I'm suffering from neurodermatitis, asthma, many allergies and complaints related to these diseases. By getting no help through mainstream medicine, I tried the way to natural medicine and landed - to my greatest fortune - at Sascha Dörfler.
Here some senses of achievement:
At the beginning of treatment I wasn't able to work in my garden longer than 30 min despite allergy tablets. Afterwards I had to fight against heavy trouble and got to finish my work. Today I can do that without tablets even longer.
During fall I got a serious bronchitis. My family doctor signed me off work and prescribed highly dosed tablets. I din't want to deal with that at all. I went rather three times to Sascha Dörfler becoming healthy again in a natural way even within one week.

Tightly wound back
I met Sascha Dörfler on a friday in 2007 and I wanted to participate a workshop in the evening. Unfortunately I suffered from tension or blocks between the shoulders, which affected seriously my breath and any moving.
Until midmorning at the same day I beared the tensions, after that I only wanted to get help. I left my house walking down the Mühlenkamp, all the way looking for a sign or a hint for getting betterment. Finally I stroke it rich, because a Heilpraktiker always has good ideas.
I reached there without any appointment and bumped into Sascha Dörfler, who wanted going for lunch at that moment but decided taking care about myself.
An extensive anamnesis succeeded, the tension had been diagnosed and treated with needles. The result has been very satisfying. I could breathe much easier and had much less restrictions while moving than before.
The rest of complaints had a mere origin in muscles and vanished a few days later. .

Arthrosis in the joints
After many-times acupuncture treatment I feel the need telling you about the excellent effect of your work on me.
With 72 years of age I carry some chronical luggage and the arthritic joints bring more and more desperation, especially since my odyssey through the genernal medical and specialists practices brought no relief at all.
Now I have good reasons coming back to hope again. Knee- and hips-joints are more resilient, the aches are going back and I can even walk the stairways without crutches!

Power to defeat my disease
